Who can benefit from massage?

What are some reasons I might choose to receive bodywork?

Is bodywork good for stress?

Yes! When we don't counteract the effects of mental and emotional stress, they eventually manifest in our bodies as disease or injury. Bodywork is a perfect stress-buster: it relieves physical pain associated with long hours on the job, in the car, or at your desk, and also soothes your mind and spirit.

How often should I receive bodywork?

There are many variables which can determine your optimal frequency for your visits. Most clients set up an initial schedule of two to four visits per month for as many appointments as it takes to reach their ideal physical or mental state; then, they set up a "preventive maintenance schedule" to prevent the issue from resurfacing in future and keep feeling their best.

Do I need an appointment?

We encourage everyone to make an appointment, especially for the first visit, however we do occasionally have availability for walk-ins.

Is massage therapy covered by my medical insurance?

If massage therapy is required due to an accident or injury, your medical insurance may cover the cost of your treatment. Please contact your insurer to learn more about your specific coverage. In the event that your services are covered, Sundance does not bill your insurer directly; we will provide you with a receipt which you may present to your insurer for reimbursement.

Why choose Sundance?

All of our nationally certified, licensed, and highly skilled therapists are sincerely committed to providing the highest quality of care in a safe, comfortable environment. We have built our stellar reputation by truly listening to our clients and tailoring our treatments to their individual needs. Also, while the treatment length at many salons and spas is ten minutes shorter than advertised, with us, every minute counts! So experience for yourself what many Rhode Islanders already know!

Why did I wait so long?

We can't really answer that for you, but we can tell you that we've heard this question over and over from satisfied clients. If you've never experienced high-quality bodywork before, let us be the first to introduce you. And if you're already familiar with how great bodywork can be, then you'll appreciate us even more!

So, What are you waiting for? Invest in yourself. You deserve it!
